Cheshunt Dental Practice has a prestigious history dating back to the 1950s. Originally located at 207A Turners Hill, it moved to a modern, purpose-built site at 219 Turners Hill in 2008. Dr AC Patel joined the practice in 1974, becoming a partner and later taking over from Dr Minoo Choksi, who also ran a practice in Cuffley. The two dentist were great friends and worked together at the practice until 2005, when Dr Choksi sadly passed away.
Dr AC Patel’s son, Dr Rumeet Patel, joined the practice in 2006, continuing his father’s legacy. The practice’s relocation in 2008 brought state-of-the-art facilities, including fully digitalized surgeries and air-conditioned rooms designed for patient comfort. In 2014, after 40 years of dedicated service Dr AC Patel retired knowing that the practice was in the safe hands of his son, Rumeet.
Many loyal patients have been with the practice for decades, even traveling from across the country and abroad to continue their care with Dr Patel. This long-standing relationship between the Patel family and their patients (over 50 years) has made the practice unique, fostering a deep sense of commitment and continuity across generations.
